Adventures continue part duex - Durango - Day 4

So, we left the Great Sand Dunes and continued west.  The drive was beautiful!

When in Colorado, ALWAYS take the scenic route.
Of course, they are all "the scenic route"!
After a bit of a drive, we make it to Durango, CO

Durango is known for it's trains and mining.

This baggage car was used in the movie "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid".

After a hard day of travel, people were starting to get worn thin.  Ice Cream always does wonders for an attitude.  This ice cream was THE BEST I have ever eaten.  Sorry Ted Drews!
The Durango Train Museum was fabulous and FREE!
