The past Sunday finds us in Phoenix at Mater Misericordiae Mission for mass. It is an apostolate of the Priestly Faternity of St. Peter. It is a newly built church but nicely done. The parish seems to be growing as every seat for 9:00 mass was full.
When attending unfamiliar churches, you hope you are actually at the right one. While approaching the entrance, we spotted another mantilla and knew, "Yes, we are at the right spot."
I was struck during mass how wonderful it was on this feast day to have ended up attending mass at (in English) Our Mother of Mercy church. The gift of the most holy rosary from the blessed Mother is a gift of mercy to us all.
