Oh, Institute blue, it is so good to see you!

There it is Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Santa Clara.

When our dear abbe says that St. Francis de Sales is the largest church soley dedicated to the
extraordinary form of the mass in the universe, he is not kidding!  And neither is this sign!
I now know why there are so many masses on Sunday!  I was especially glad to be where
Canon Frigelli celebrated the mass.  The sermon on confession was very good.  I wish
I would be around to here the other two installments of the sermon.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help, pray for us.
I really had hoped to attend St. Margret Mary in Oakland but was unable to and sorely disappointed by it as well.  My disappointment can not be too much as I was able to attend an Institute mass and hear a very well thought out and delivered sermon.  I couldn't help think about the recent changes in the clergy.  I know why  Wisconsin spoke so highly of Canon Frigelli and that they now are blessed with our fabulous Canon Huberfeld.  I am truly blessed to live as close as I do to St. Francis de Sales.  I have thought many times throughout this journey of all of the people who live in so many places that don't even have a latin mass nearby.

So, I am sorry to the people I know we displaced at mass on Sunday
but know how greatful I am and was to have been there in your holy place.

  1. Glad you made it back safe. I wish you could have made it to St. Margaret Mary. Same Canon, same sermon on confession, but a lot roomier. Come back to California soon so you can!
